We just had a bachelor party on the weekend, and we asked the pizzeria if they would suprise us with eight of their best pizzas. Suprised would be an understatement. The staff graciously obliged our special requests for the order, and the gentleman we received the pizzas from was friendly and accommodating. But the real star of the show was the pizza. As take-out aficionados, we were wary of trying pizzas like the “Al Capone” and the “Tony Saprano”, but I must say, they were some of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. The ingredients were quality and plentiful, the sauce was subtle but delicious, and the crust was soft with just enough chew. Every time I’m in the area from now on, Pizzeria Mercato will definitely be my go to dinner stop.
